BRUDER receives no less than three prominent awards

Nuremberg/Fürth – 5 February 2019. BRUDER Spielwaren GmbH + Co. KG, Fürth-Burgfarrnbach, is delighted about the great success the company has had with the five new “bworld themed worlds”. The company received no less than two popular industry awards for said products: the “Plus X AWARD” and the “ToyAward” of the 2019 Nuremberg Toy Fair. Furthermore, BRUDER has also been honoured as “Traditional German brand” for the first time.

BRUDER from Burgfarrnbach has recently been awarded no less than two awards by the “Plus X AWARD” panel, i.e. independent, international specialist panel members from over 80 sectors in which 23 competent, strategic partners and more than 700 participating, international brands are involved. Consequently, the “PLUS X AWARD”, according to their own information, is the “world’s innovation award for technology, sport as well as lifestyle to thus represent one of the major projects to protect and strengthen brands and retail.”

BRUDER was firstly awarded the “Plus X AWARD“ for the following realistic "bworld themed worlds”, introduced in 2019: hospital, police station, motorcycle workshop and horse stable! The experienced panel justified the award with the fact that the “High quality, design and convenient operation” criteria had been excellently met.

This is the second time that BRUDER has been awarded this seal of product quality for these three criteria (previously in 2016 and 2019).
All in all, the company from Franconia has received the “Plus X Award” for the fourth time.

Company with a tradition spanning decades
Secondly, the Franconian, family-owned business with a long tradition was awarded the title of “Traditional German brand” for the first time.

This award was also handed over by the “Plus X AWARD” panel. The panel gave an extensive reason featuring keywords, such as “history that has been continuously passed on”, “mastered all challenges”, “always met customers’ demands” as well as “responsibility towards staff” and, last but not least, “positive influence on the industry”.

The head of the company, Paul Heinz Bruder, is particularly delighted about this award, especially as he considers the aforementioned keywords to be his maxims: “and we would have not been attributed these characteristics if we didn’t have loyal and outstanding people around us – be it customers, employees or partners“. BRUDER was established in 1926 and today, it employs around 500 employees to operate around the globe.

“Themed worlds” also distinguished by largest toy exhibition

The third award in spring 2019 was also awarded to recently developed “themed worlds”. The panel of the annual “ToyAward”, the prize for new products at the Nuremberg Toy Fair was particularly happy about the fact that “themed worlds invite children to develop an extensive role play.

Hospital, police station, motorcycle workshop, car workshop and horse stable have been illustrated on durable wall panels and figures are used to play in them. Children benefit from almost endless options to play as themed worlds can be combined with each other. For example, we were very impressed by the car workshop with sports car and automotive mechanic as this themed world illustrates the skills required for this profession to children. The worlds’ high levels of detail mean that older children will also enjoy playing with them.“

The awarded bworld theme sets

BRUDER read the market correctly
Consequently, BRUDER continues on the right path, also in 2019: our plastics production saves resources and is considered "highly accurate", not only according to BRUDER's opinion, with the high-grade parts withstanding long-term, intensive fun

with the toy. The design most of all follows "the perspective and motor skills of children and also takes into account left and right-handedness wherever possible", managing director Paul Heinz Bruder explains.

His renowned company has always been very innovative: high-grade, affordable toys at a uniform scale of 1:16 throughout all product segments are in the focus of the environmentally friendly production in Fürth. “bworld” themed world figures are extremely flexible and were introduced in 2011. Five toy worlds have now been added in 2019.
